Gluggle Jug black

The design for these character-filled water jugs was originally produced in the late 1800's and gained mainstream popularity in the 1950's after one was gifted to Queen Elizabeth II, these conversation-starters have been delighting collectors ever since.
 
The unique shape of the jug isn't just for aesthetics; the hollow tail captures air when filled and is released as the liquid is poured out, creating an entertaining glugging sound.
 
Each Gluggle Jug is made with lead-free vitrified porcelain and lovingly cast, dipped and finished by hand. They are 100% food safe and can be used as a carafe, flower vase, utensil jar, centre piece or as a piece of home décor.
